Hot Yoga Happens Outside At The Neon Museum Boneyard
Most hot yoga classes are taught in studios with the heat cranked up. The Neon Museum came up with a novel idea: let the sun do the heating! We live in Las Vegas!!!!!
Eileen Lorraine leads a 60-minute practice at 4:30 every Saturday through August 25. The classes are held on the covered patio, so you're not directly in the blazing sun.
Yogis, you have to bring your own mat, water bottle, towel and props. Have yoga blocks, will travel!
The classes are $18 per class....unless you are a Neon Museum member, in which case the fee is only $10.
You have to register at neonmuseum.org/happenings.
Las Vegas has become yoga crazy. There's goat yoga (lots of goats and not that much yoga). Still lots of fun.
But you can do yoga in a cabin in the High Roller at the Linq or at the Hoffbrau House. The next beer and yoga is July 22. More on that later. There is also Silent Shivashana by the pools at at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Red Rock Resort.
This is one reason I love living in Las Vegas. We take something classic, like yoga, and make it our own. Come practice with me.
